The West Point Society of Baltimore hosts the 2026 Founders Day Brunch

The West Point Society of Baltimore will host Founder’s Day 2026 on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10am to 2pm at Alexandra’s American Fusion at Turf Valley Resort, 2700 Turf Valley Road, Ellicott City, MD 21042 (tel: 410.480.2400). The price is $50 per person and includes a brunch with multiple food options and a cash bar for Benny Havens Hour and for drinks during the meal. The electronic reader boards throughout the resort hotel will read WPSOB – Founder’s Day 2026 to point you in the right direction!

Guest Speaker

Our guest speaker will be COL Aaron Hill, the Head of the newly formed Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He also serves as Head Officer Representative for Army Men’s Basketball. 

COL Hill majored in civil engineering and commissioned as an engineer officer from USMA in 1997. He has served in various assignments worldwide, including Afghanistan, the Sinai Peninsula, Bosnia, and Croatia. He served in the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering from 2006 to 2009 and from 2016 to present. COL Hill holds a PhD in civil engineering (The University of Texas at Austin). His research interests include structural engineering and engineering education. He is chair of the American Society of Civil Engineers Committee on Education and vice chair of the American Institute of Steel Construction Partners in Education Committee. COL Hill is a licensed professional engineer in Virginia and a Project Management Professional. He will present news about West Point life and programs and discuss the new Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering.
